The hardest card...

With the news of my friend's dad passing away, I wanted a thinking of you as opposed to a sombre, sympathy card.  I remembered I had this digi from www.digistampboutique.co.uk so went ahead and made this, this afternoon.  RIP

Our Anniversary Today!

Well, this time 12 years ago, Phil and I were about to become man and wife!  As he is a bit of a computer geek I made him this card with a custom QR code on it!  In case you don't know, there is an app on the iphone which you scan these codes with and they bring up a message / photo or take you to a website for further info, and you usually see them in magazines or shops.  Anyway, I found out that you can build your own for free, using a website, (http://www.unitaglive.com/qrcode) where you type your message and it creates the code.  You can then customise it with different shapes and colours before printing it.  I chose gold and silver to go with my new gilding flakes that I coated the card heart with (had to test it a couple of times to make sure it worked - it was too light the first time).  Added some card candi and a ribbon, et voila!
