Wow!

Well,  I finally finished my box of Christmas cards at 1.30 this morning!  I had an appointment for my nails with the wonderful Sharon and left my box in her log cabin, with fingers crossed for any possible sales!  Here is the final batch!

Hubby's birthday tomorrow!

Not like me to be leaving things to the last minute (again!) - I have just finished hubby's card - although, to be fair, I have been creating with the children to make their cards to Daddy! Annoyingly, in my haste to get them in the envelope, I forgot to take piccies! So, I'll snap them when they are opened in the morning. I have, however, taken a piccie of mine - and I'm quite glad it won't be up next to Jess's creation, cos it's amazing!

Christmas - at last!

Think this will be the style of Christmas card for my sales!  Best get on with it really!!  WOuld appreciate any thoughts - not my usual style at all, but needed something quick if I'm going to be churning them out - lol!

A special card for a special friend

My beautiful friend Katy had her baby boy, so wanted to make this card a really special one.  I persevered with the ribbon which I was having trouble with but now I love it (thanks to Kerry for her advice - she makes stunning cards which always inspire me).  I love this font which is called Mountains of Christmas.  The image is Bambino.  I have also used Gingham blue card over Silver glitter card, silver Angel Hair for behind the image and baby details and then a teddy charm.  New Prima flowers from Joanna Sheen, and Card Candi from stash.  I love this card - I'm so pleased with it!

Mum & Pete's Anniversary

I had some lovely news last night - my friend had her baby boy!  So I have a special card to make - some of which I did last night, just need to add the details - so exciting!

In the meantime, here's my mum and stepdad's easel card to celebrate their silver wedding anniversary.  Another one I found hiding on the camera card!

Had probs yesterday!

...So my yesterday post actually appeared today!  Another busy birthday day for Tom - this time a surprise birthday treat with Nanna - a trip to Hanningfield Resevoir to get messy in the woods - den building, bug hunting, making a mushroom from clay and glitter paint, feeding the ducks - great fun!

Still can't upload to dc :(

So here I am, on my ickle blog!  It's Tom's birthday today and I can't believe he's 6 already!  If you read my profile, you'll know that it was him who bought me my first cardmaking magazine at his 1st Christmas!  Had his party this afternoon, and everyone said how tall and handsome he is - proud mummy moment!

Anyhoo - here's his card - he's recently taken up drum lessons and saw this image by the fab Digi Stamp Boutique which I fell in love with and knew just where to use it!

Thanks for stopping by

My basket is ready....

...now I just need to make some cards to fill it!  As you may know, I have the opportunity to display my cards in my friend's nail salon (log cabin) so have been looking for a pretty box to put them in.  I bought the basket with the intention of making a liner for it.  However, I found these stunning butterflies as part of a new christmas display at the garden centre and thought they would be perfect!  I have my own stamp design on the lid and the butterflies to embellish it.

Hope you like it

Well, it's finished!

After umming and arring for ages about how to put this card together, I finally got it!  I was asked for a not scary Hallowe''en themed card for my friend's son - hope that's what it says!

I used a digi image from'I Brake for Stamps' - Bear in Pumpkin can be found here, orange paper from Carole Anne designs digi download, charm from Quixotic Paperie and sentiment from Cuddly Buddly.  Card Candi, black card and ribbon from my stash.

What a busy day!

Went for a pamper to have my nails done this morning and did a bit of shopping - looking for a new bed for Jess, clothes for Tom, then started to make a card for a friend for her son's birthday.  It's on Hallowe'en so she wants a themed card but he's only 1 so to not be too scary!  I have an image, and papers so just need to get making!  Watch this space.....

Exciting news!

I go to a lovely lady to have my nails done and we were chatting over a manicure, as you do, and she offered to have a basket of my cards in her log cabin to sell for me!  Blimey, oh riley!  So exciting - although now I've got to get some made - lol!  I usually only make cards to order and have very specific instructions like occasion, colour scheme, name etc., so this might be quite tricky, but I'm determined to give it a go!  With half term only a couple of weeks away, I'm hoping I might get some time to get crafty!

Doesn't time fly?!

Well, the weeks are flying by!  Well and truly settled back into school and I don't where the days are going!  Not having much time to craft but seem to work best under pressure so am making cards the night before they're needed - so here are my latest "night before they're needed" cards!
